Monday Funday
There was lots of fun on Monday, best expressed in photos...
First of all, our bus drivers - Alfonso and Alfredo. These guys are awesome. The wake up at 4:00 am to drive two hours from San Salvador to Sacacoyo every morning, and they still have a big smile on their faces when they get here. They've sort of become the Salvadoran uncles that the boys never knew they had. The drivers know that the boys are "loco" - speaking Spanglish for all they're worth, telling ridiculous stories, etc. The bus drivers have a little broken English too, so they always manage to get there in the end.
At one point, the jump rope got busted out. Turns out kids these days don't know how to jump rope, so I had to show 'em how it's done.
They figured it out eventually.
I got some great portraits today, too:
