Sunday Morning
We're just finishing breakfast, and will be having a two hour silent retreat before heading to Ateos for our commissioning mass and a half day of clinic.
Before we head out, I wanted to share some pictures of the various clinic stations that we set up.
Here's what the end of the line in the waiting area looked like at one point
First station - Triage. Nurses, translators and runners are all working together to get the patients history and complaints written down, and then take them to whatever station they need next.
Next - Eyeglasses. We have reading glass for older folks who are starting to have trouble seeing small things up close. This is where I spent a lot of time last year.
Provider Room - All the doctors, physician's assistants and nurse practitioners were in one combined exam room.
Some patients were sent up the hill for occupational therapy.
Others had to go to the lab...
Finally, they make their way to the pharmacy to pick up their medications.
